With views of the majestic Pacific Ocean as a backdrop, 18 holes of golf were played on beautifully manicured links when we held our second annual charitable golf event at Pelican Hill Golf and Resort August 23rd. Our nonprofit faith-based organization raised more than $80,000 for people around the world lacking the basic necessity of clean water.
The 2012 Drive for Water Charitable Golf Event brought together professional athletes legendary musicians and executives from many of the top companies in the United States to help bring awareness to impoverished areas of the world.
Every day billions of people around the world lack the basic necessities we take for granted, such as clean water for drinking and eating, the ability to properly clean themselves and education. By hosting one day charity golf events, with like-minded business and community leaders, the funds we raise help entire villages and towns live healthier lifestyles. It’s truly inspiring to see the commitment and devotion of our sponsors, staff and guests to help people who they’ve never met!
