As this year’s Drive for Water event comes closer, hype is building for this wonderful annual event. It will be held at the Pelican Hill Golf Resort, which is located near the beautiful Newport Beach. The elegant, breathtaking course is the idea-come-to-life course of well-renowned course designer, Tom Fazio.

Every hole on the course is surrounded with beautiful, vast oceanfront views. You are also greeted by a lush, green, and large landscape of sage and eucalyptus trees. It is one of the most awe-inspiring places to help people who lack clean water internationally and experience an amazing golf event for a good cause.
Millions of people live without a sufficient amount of clean water worldwide. A report from the World Health Organization (WHO) states that nearly one billion people do not have access to a clean water supply. This phenomenon causes major damage to many of these families who live on less than $1.00 per day.
Not only does this affect their financial situation, but also their health. A lack of clean water is the cause of millions of individuals’ deaths. The WHO also reports that up to four percent of the global disease total could be avoid with more access points to improved water supplies, sanitation, and hygiene. The proceeds from this event will go to H2❤, which is organization that aids developing countries in providing clean water, and Crittenton, which provides support for those children and families who were victims to abuse and neglect. With the help of the Drive for Water event’s generous donations, communities and individuals will get to receive the gift of fresh, clean water.
