Excitement is mounting for this year’s Drive for Water event, which will be held at the Pelican Hill Golf Resort. Situated near the stunning Newport Beach, this rich, lavish paradise is the creation of legendary course designer Tom Fazio.

Every hole features majestic, sweeping oceanfront views. In turn, this is complemented by a sprawling, green, natural landscape of sage and eucalyptus trees. It’s an incredible destination at which to help people lacking clean water worldwide and partake in an unforgettable golf experience.
Across the globe, there are millions of people without clean water. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nearly one billion individuals lack access to improved water supply. It’s a global crisis with tragic implications, as many of these families live on less than $1.00 per day.
Millions of people die each year because they lack access to clean water. And the WHO reports as much as four percent of the global disease burden could be prevented with improved water supply, sanitation, and hygiene. The Driver for Water gives participants the opportunity to truly make a difference.
Event proceeds will go to H2❤, an organization supporting the clean water needs of developing countries; Operation Homefront, a service-assistance organization for the families of veterans and wounded warriors; and PureGame™, an organization promoting youth development. Through the generous giving at this event, needy, water-stricken populations across the globe also will receive access to life-giving clean water.
